After my father died and we knew my mother would need to move out of the house, one of the overwhelming tasks to address was what to do with a houseful of belongings from their life together in this home for the past 40 some odd years. We were especially concerned about finding "good homes" for all the pieces of furniture, cabinets, and various end tables and wall units that my father had lovingly crafted in his basement workshop over his life time. We knew we couldn't take them all with us but felt at a loss for how to dispose of the pieces we decided not to take.

It was a great relief to have you step in, appreciate the work he'd done, and help see to it that they were properly displayed and sold to appreciative new owners. In addition, the fact that you could get the sale set up without my mother having to move out or wait until after the house closing (when she would have had to pay rent to the new owner until she had completely vacated the house - which was the arrangement proposed by another estate sale agent....) was an answer to a prayer!
